Its been some time now, since that fateful day, when a posse of crazed lunatics flew a few jets into those two magnificent towers.
The wounding of New York was the quintessential moment that began what was to become, in the public consciousness, the war on terror. It was too, the beginning of a new era of hostility and fear, on both sides, this Pearl Harbour-esque moment seared the dividing lines between freedom and religion in a way that no-one had ever contemplated.
True to form, the world media sprang into action and the conflict was immediately drawn into one between cultures, civilizations, religion, truth, lies, modernity and savagery. Newspapers, Television, and Governments all jumped to the same old conclusions.
Conservative rags portrayed it as the conflict between a crazed and bloodthirsty autocracy and the liberal west. Liberal rags blamed American Imperialism. The list of reasons goes on ad infinitum, Palestine, Decadence, Madness, George Bush, American Foreign Policy, Aid, and Oil etc.

- A Clash of Civilizations

The beginning of the end of civil freedoms. The first strike at the heart of the Red White and Blue of many to come. The reasons why and the consequences were endless. So too were the predictions. What it all came down to was a new kind of war, and a new kind of fear.
Radical Islam vs. the West. With George Bush and Bin Laden in the lead roles, and the rest of us in uninvited cameo appearances.
We were plunged into one of the most complex conflicts of all time, no longer just spectators, the consequences of war were burned into our minds and splashed across our living rooms
Amid the plethora of reasons and accusations, few sane, reasoned approaches were evident.
This piece wishes to investigate the reasons behind Mr Osama Bin Ladin, what does he really want ?
He says he wants the U S out of Saudi Arabia, even though he doesn’t live there, and they don’t want him. Yet the bombs continue. Why does he want this ? How did this become sufficient to cause all this, and why doesn’t he just worry about Afghanistan, thats where he lives, after all ?
So the real question is, how would US withdrawal help Osama ?
The answer is surprising.

- What is this all for ?

You will recall, dear reader, that some years ago, January 8, 1926 to be precise, Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud became the King of Hejaz ,In 1932, these regions were unified as Saudi Arabia (Wikipedia)
That Saudi Arabia was a turbulent place, and made up of several conquered regions, by the aggressive and militant House of Saud, was to the rest of the world, not really of much consequence, because, all that was there was, sand, more sand and some religious sites and relics and more sand.
The rise to power of the Saud family was steeped in blood, and in particular with regard to the Wahhabi’s, a faction of uber religious, fascist, endlessly jihading lunatics. Despite being defeated by the Saudi’s in 1929, they have remained very powerful influence within the society, in no small part thanks to the generous support of some in the Saudi Aristocracy, and are in many ways responsible for the harsh Islamic rules that continue to pervade that society.
Like any group silenced by violent force, they have remained, ever ready und lurking under the façade of Saudi rule. Since that time the Saudi Government has maintained an uneasy peace with the them by a form of détente that has seen modern value stunted in that country. An uneasy peace, that was to become the catalyst for this new terror on our shores.
The discovery of oil was the final nail in the coffin of the Wahhabi’s defeat. With the newly found revenue of oil, the Saudi house was about to rocket into the stratosphere with wealth and power.
The founding of the Arab American Oil Company in 1932, Aramco, was the beginning of this chapter, so called because of the new most important relationship in the House of Saudi. The biggest oil producer and the biggest oil consumer became best of friends, and Aramco was the symbol of that.
With American money and American guns, buttressed by Saudi Oil, the House of Saud was now completely unassailable.
The House of Saud became fat and rich, and in the eyes of the Wahhabi’s decadent and evil. These their great oppressors were there for one reason and one reason only, their friendship with America.

- The well known relationship.

Now, to be fair, as fair as one can be to a Monarchy and Dictatorship as brutal and total as the Saudi Family, they never oppressed, the Wahhabi’s, in fact they seem to have encouraged them, for the alternative, of risking a civil war, regardless of their power, was always unappealing. So détente has continued to this very day, with the very western influenced, and decadently rich Monarchy allowing the Wahhabi’s to flourish, and live under Sharia law.
There is another reason, though, one far more common in our history. The simple realities of Monarchies in power everywhere.
The Aristocracy.
Since the beginning of time, and Machiavelli would have told you this, the greatest threat to any monarchy, comes from within its own aristocracy. From Macbeth to Julius Ceaser on the floor of the senate in march, the Aristocracy has always been the breeding ground of revolt.
There are always jealous eyes on the throne from right within the royal court, its why, you see; Mary Queen of Scotts lost her head.
And it’s why Bin Laden has lost his.

The Bin Laden’s are an Aristocratic Saudi family, with great aspirations of power. None of these however compare with those of its most famous descendant, Osama.
For years the Bin Ladens have been cultivating powerful friendships with the big wigs of the west, simultaneously funneling huge quantities of money to the ultra religious sects of Wahhabi’s.
Why, right here in lil ol Durban, South Africa, they built the Bin Laden centre for our very own Jimmy Swaggart of Radical Islam, the very right reverend Ahmed Deedat, who has the honour of making our shores the biggest exporter of the Koran in the world, or so he claims.
Big time friends with the Bush family, Osama thought his time had come, when Sadam invaded Kuwait, he jumped up and offered his very own, ready and waiting army, to repel the invading Sadam. They were busy causing mayhem in Afghanistan, but they could be there to defend, and please get rid of the Americans as well.
This would be his chance, he offered 10 000 mujahedeen to the Saudi Family. They rejected it in favour of the USA. Probably because the thought of a rival for the throne, with 10 000, fanatic with guns running around Kuwait was just too much risk.
Then they deported him.
Enraged, he retorted that “…. you {the Saudi Royal Family} had had betrayed Muslims, had become dependent on Christians and Jews and couldn’t be the custodians of the holy places any more.”
It was the excuse he had been waiting for, to mobilise his support within the lunacy of the Wahhabi’s enclaves. He retreated and moved his army to Afghanistan.
The war for the throne was on, the disgruntled Wahhabis on his side, Bin Laden was ready to attack and ascend to the throne, where he felt he rightly began. Calling in his favour for all that cash over the years, Bin Laden began to whip up support for his cause.
The only problem that he faced, was how to get to the palace, surrounded as it was by the USA.
It was then, dear reader, that he hatched his terrible plan. To get the USA out of Saudi Arabia. Its no secret, he says it time and time again. The only thing he never tells you, over his live broadcasts from caves across Afghanistan is why.
So he can get the Saudi Throne.
These attacks on US soil are calculated to drive a wedge between the Muslim Arab world and the USA. To get the US out of Saudi Arabia so that he can turn in into Bin Laden Arabia.
